located conveniently near the Eiffel Tower area, just a short 15-minute walk away. It offers a mix of hits and misses on the culinary front, making for a slightly mixed experience. The standout for me was the delicious Caesar salad. However, do note that in Paris, the chicken for the Caesar salad is usually fried rather than grilled, which might be different from what you're used to. The flavors were well-balanced, and it made for a satisfying dish. We also tried the snails, which were okay but not necessarily the best rendition I've had. The truffle fries and pasta were a hit – both flavorful and enjoyable. The salmon tartare, unfortunately, didn't quite live up to expectations. While it's a matter of personal taste, it's worth noting that this dish fell a bit short for me. The restaurant's location is a major plus, especially for those exploring the Eiffel Tower vicinity. However, it's important to consider that during my visit, taxis were scarce due to Olympics rehearsals, resulting in an unexpected 30-minute walk...
Read moreThe food at this restaurant was poor. I grew up in Chicago and have eaten my fair share of good steak. I've also eaten at excellent French steakhouses, and my friends, this is not one of them.
The "Rib Eye" had no fat on it and without salt was absolutely flavorless. The kids' "steak" was a hamburger. And the chips (fries) were bland.
This restaurant seems to cater to tourists (it was recommended by the front desk staff at our hotel, they had menus in English, subway tile signs were in English, and the majority of the patrons around us were speaking English) and probably appeals most to those without tastebuds.
The one saving grace was our waiter, Amin, who was absolutely fantastic. He was energetic, great with our kids, and brought a bit of "Ratatouille" pizazz into an otherwise flat restaurant.
Do yourself a favor, and if you do decide to eat here, sit in Amin's section, and order something...
Read moreSo we did a night in Paris, after walking around and enjoying the sites we went to this restaurant before we went back to the hotel. I will admit that we came there late but we asked politely if we can still order food and they said if we be fast enough so we ordered the simplest things on the menu (we both work in the kitchen so we know how annoying it is when last minute eaters) but there is still no excuse for the attitude we got from the staff after we kindly explained that the food was burned and salty and cold it was not edible. We told them it's fine we will just pay and leave to be then told "next time just go to the hotel and not come here" like somehow we inconvenienced them. These sort of establishments brings shame to the Paris experience especially when it's known for the cuisine. It's a shame I would never treat guests like this at...
