Bistrot Da Vinci — Restaurant in Paris

Went to this gorgeous place after a game (Paris Olympics 2024) for a late supper. It was quite late and was quite crowded. Waited in line for about 15 minutes to get our seats. After being seated, the table was quickly cleaned and menus given. Emaj (sorry if I got the name incorrect) - the owner was very helpful in explaining the menu as everything was in French. Suggested few of the items and we did take his suggestion. Turned out to be brilliant choice too. As the restaurant was crowded, it took a bit longer than expected to get the food. The drinks came out pretty quickly and we're almost on the second round when the food came in. Very nice and tasty food. Generally no tipping culture in France. Single mixed gender toilet so you'll have to wait😀. Very courteous, helpful and cheerful staff. Very close - walking distance to the Metro station. We sat on the pavement terrace just after 7pm when the restaurant opened. There were a few tables already in use and with comng and going on the street there was some atmosphere. We had fettucini which was served promptly and was very tasty. The server seemed unhappy that we chose not to have a dessert and was slow in getting our bill for us while she spent a long time on the phone. In the end, we had to ask someone else...

Great restaurant with amazing food and superb service. Everyone was extremely friendly and the dishes + specials will leave you satiated. All the dishes tasted like they were made fresh with quality ingredients. Visiting from USA and they assured we felt at home. Returning for dinner for an encore.
