Went there on a Friday night for drinks initially, and then decided to stay for diner as well. The identity of the restaurant is quite unique - a modern fancy Asian bistrot - we were very curious to try it out. Overall, a good experience. The place is spacious, lots of space inside and a generous terrace as well. The cocktails were a disappointment - they tried to put an Asian spin on classics like mojito or negroni, but sadly for us it didn't work. Could have been a great idea but not very well executed. The food on the contrary is delicious. Asian dish with a modern look and feel ; we tried a veggie wok and roasted pork tenderloin with Japanese pasta - it was very good. We also shared the chicken gyoza as starter and they were very good. Service was ok. Will go back to try other dishes and confirm my rating ; really felt disappointed because the place has potential and the food...
Read moreWent for a dinner here and the it was very posh I should say. The atmosphere is unlike most restaurants in Paris, as much as I like eating on those small beautiful restaurants, sometimes you just want a table without any hustle or queuing. The staff is very professional and kind. The lady made small chat with us about our diet because we ordered mojito without sugar. She also insisted to take advantage of the happy hour, yet again very kind :) the food was good, but you know how sometimes you can't find any problem in the food but it just lacked something. But the good part was I was happy at the end of it. Also a quick tip, I'm sure they don't do this mistake normally but I would like my drinks first, followed by the food. We got the two together so basically I was eating fried rice with my sugarless mojito, now how Bobo is that. Thanks again to Blue Monkey for...
Read moreYou’re not going to believe this…but we ate best under 80EUR/85$-2 pax dinner, in Paris, here at Blue Monkey. Sick of paying too much for tasteless food in Paris, we looked for alternatives and we discovered Blue Monkey.Fantastic flavors, good value for money, nice portions with plating. It is a very lovely place, decorated pretty cool and really clean-in Paris is pretty rare. I ate well made duck with noodles (I had no idea noodles can taste so good till now)and a marvelous creme brûlée-with matcha, not sweet, well balanced taste. It is a hidden gem that saves Paris in my culinary memories. It is so antagonistic from the expensive tourist traps near Eiffel Tour, that you’ll want to eat only here. Excellent service and again, one of the most delicious meals you can...
