BON DO (Do et Riz plus) — Restaurant in Paris

One of the best Thai restaurants in Paris!!! I am saying that as a Thai who knows Thai food and who cooks. We were a group of six Thais and we ordered many dishes for sampling together the Thai way. All dishes are true to the Thai taste while the levels of spiciness that could be adjusted to taste. Highly recommended dishes are Crying Tiger / Grilled Beef with fatty cut with its tamarind flavored dip, Som Tam Lao / Green Papaya Salad with fermented fish flavor, Larb Lao / Sour Pork sausage mixed with crispy fried rice balls, Larb Neu / Grilled Beef with toasted rice, powder chilli, mints and herbs seasoning as well as Pad Thai with Prawns and Pad Si-iew / Rice noodles stirred fried with black soy sauce. Not to mention super delicious Mango Sticky Rice and coconut cream topping. Even plain rice was tasty, tender, hot and aromatic which went well with Three-Flavored Fried Fish Filet. Beef was super tender and I commended their seasoning methods. Service was prompt. Atmosphere was relaxing. Toilets are clean and large. Easily reached by Metro. We highly recommended this bistro. Having lived in Thailand for 22 years and France for nine, I pretty well gave up on finding tasty authentic Thai food. Not anymore, this place made me feel like I was eating in Bangkok! The Son Tam was perfect! The Laab Moo was the best I’ve had in France, as good as it gets even in Thailand! Also the pace is clean, the bathrooms decorated and super clean. And the welcome was warm. Travelling to Paris from Canada with my whole 7 family members and 4 friends and decided to have Vietnamese cuisine in Paris. And more than expected, we had a perfect lunch at wonderful asmosphere here. Bo Bun, salad, Duck, Pho,…, Cafe, Desserts as Che chuoi are so yummy and special.
