I will preface by saying I don't usually leave reviews. But I had the best dining experience Ive had in a long time, so I'll take the time.
I came solo and was welcomed like family. Sophie is as great a hostess as possible. A family-run establishment, each patron was given attention and care from the whole staff, even though the venue was busy. They found a table out front for me (people-watching at its finest) after a brief wait at the bar. I ordered the Fillet de Bœuf medium rare, cooked to perfection in a secret sauce that I would travel around the globe to acquire the recipe for. I made new friends with fellow diners, enjoyed every bite and sip of Bordeaux, and never once felt rushed, pressured, or ignored. Dining at its peak. To top it off: a steak dinner, bottle of wine, and dessert ran me €67. You just cant beat that. Sophie and company: I will be back whenever I am in Paris, and I will pass this recommendation along to anyone lucky enough to have the chance to dine here.

Read moreThe owner, Sofie, found us a table without having a reservation and was extremely welcoming. The entire staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions. We ordered the Mezza appetizer, it was so flavorful and fresh. For dinners we ordered the Salmon and the Filet with the secret sauce. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. The wine selections were perfect and price-wise very affordable. The Gin Basil Smash is a must if you enjoy gin (extra bonus - the owner made it for us!) For dessert we had the Moelleux au chocolat (molten chocolate cake) and the rice pudding which were both fresh and delicious. Honestly, the best meal we had while in Paris and I will be back in the future. Thank you Sofie, Aabir (our incredible server - the owner’s sister!), Taj, and team! This meal and evening was excellent...
Read moreService is excellent; very friendly and attentive. The filet de boeuf and moelleux we had was so good, we came back the next night to order the exact same dishes. There are a lot of wine options. Every bottle has a glass option. I spent more on the Grand Cru wine, which is half the price I would pay in my home country.
When you are waiting for a table, you might notice the fries on people's plates and might be tempted to ask for less fries because it looks like a lot. Don't. They are very, VERY good.
The food is so tasty and cooked with so much love, that it is on par with and better than some of the Michelin-starred places I've dined at. Certainly the best meal I've had in Paris, and I will dream of the food until I...
