El Cucho — Restaurant in Paris

Never had Colombian food before, but this was definitely the best introduction. We were quite a large group with all different kind of language barriers, but the waiter was super friendly, understanding and kind at all times. Since we didn’t have much of a clue what all the different drinks were, the waiter even offered little cups to try and see what we like. Further, he even gave us a game of domino’s and some drawing stuff for the kids while we were waiting. The food arrived quickly and was just a pleasure to eat. Delicious Colombian food so far from home. The owner and all the employees are so helpful, patient, and attentive. The flavors of everything taste home made and fresh. Just a consideration their two dogs are here roaming in the eating area, but they're well behaved and adorable little pitbulls. The owner even was thoughtful enough to ask for critique and advice from us at the end of the meal. They deserve so much success for their excellent food and their amazing service. Much success...

Expérience vraiment pas top. J'ai pris a emporter et le staff, qui était très accueillant, m'a prévenu qu'il y avait normalement beaucoup d'affluence donc qu'il faudrait sûrement attendre assez longtemps si je n'avais pas appelé a l'avance. Soit, je n'étais pas pressée donc cela ne m'a pas trop dérangé, j'ai attendu assise a l'intérieur. Mon plat a pris 30-40 minutes a arriver et il avait l'air très bon quand je l'ai découvert en rentrant chez moi. Le problème est que le plat etait super dur, la base (sorte de crêpe sur laquelle était posés les toppings) était inmangeable. Les toppings étaient bons, et j'ai fini par manger ça uniquement, mais sans la base, le plat perdait son sens. Vu tous les avis positifs, c'était peut être une erreur, a re tester dans le futur !

Not the best experience I've had. I got food to go, and the staff, who was very nice and welcoming, warned that it would take quite some time since I didn't call to ask them to make my food in advance. I wasn't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue. I sat down and waited for my food to come out, which took around 30-40 minutes. The real problem is that the food was super hard to chew. The base of the dish, a thick kind of crepe, was just inedible. The toppings were great, and I ended up only eating that, but without the base the dish lost its purpose. Since there are so many positive comments, it might have been a one time mistake, I'll have to try it...
