Eric Kayser — Restaurant in Paris

This bakery is NOT FOR TOURISTS. We were at Eric Kayser in February and as it was the closest bakery to our hotel we went there several times to have breakfast. We had a terrible experience every day, not because of the food (great and fresh baguettes and sweets) but because of the service. In general the staff did not make an effort to speak English and made us look like fools! Specifically, on the first day we ordered 2 things that were in the display case, and they gave us completely the opposite: a crepe explicitly ordered with chocolate that came empty. With the French the staff were kind and friendly. We noticed a great inequality. The worst situation was that we paid almost €30 for breakfast for 3, where the man who served us wrote down 2 menus instead of giving us individual things, which were cheaper. We also paid €3 just to cut a baguette in two. These are the kinds of tricks that foreigners are cruelly given. What a shame, I don't recommend it. The employees will...

Before going to work i came to this bakery if i can call it this way the lady at the cashier was disrespectful With me while she was good to person before me She even gave her a free bag And when my turn came she refused to give me a bag and asked me to pay for it Also when i asked her to give me a dark chocolate viennese she gave me a white chocolate once out i opened it and found out it was a wrong order, i came back to ask her to change it ans she said yeah you told me white chocolate I NEVER SAID THAT she lied in front of all clients and because her i missed my bus and came late to my office Poor service i dont...

Visited here over a year ago now, having first tried this boulangerie in early 2017. I would definitely visit again.

Best place to leave feeling satisfied when you are not fancying a formal lunch or care for table service. My chicken sandwich burger was delicious and was a much needed alternative to Mcdonalds in the touristy areas of the centre.

The workers at the Kayser chain all seem to be friendly and do not seem to be tired of tourists. Kayser is a respected chef and you can see why when you visit his stores, everything there is carefully thought through. There are not too many...
