Cozy place with fair prices and friendly staff, they addressed me in English at first but were happy to continue in French even though I’m not fluent. Onion soup was nice though the cheese was very burnt (pitch black) at the top. Chèvre & salmon salad was OK, nothing special but fine for a French bistro salad. I would normally give 4 stars because of the friendly waiters, many organic ingredients, nice atmosphere and decent soup and salad, but unfortunately I had a horrible dinner experience because everyone in the outside seating area was smoking non stop. I had to do my best not to vomit from all the second hand smoke that was blown on my food and into my nose - no exaggeration. I guess this is not the restaurant’s fault; unfortunately the French are just very keen smokers. But maybe a no-smoking area would be an option? Also, after I went inside because I absolutely could not bear it anymore, the problem still wasn’t solved because a window was wide open and the smoke kept drifting towards me. Maybe it’s better during the day when guests aren’t yet drinking and therefore also smoking less. Because for a typical Parisian bistro, it’s really not a bad place to have a drink...
Read moreAbsolutely fantastic! We visited the restaurant for dinner as we were staying at a nearby hotel. They serve food until late in the evening, which was very convenient for us. The food was delicious, and the service was absolutely excellent—really kind and friendly staff. We ordered the salad, beef carpaccio and both white and red wine, all of which were outstanding. The meal came with complimentary bread and olives with a selection of condiments, which was a lovely touch.
We couldn’t have asked for more and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We also loved the ambience of the restaurant—it felt vibrant and could be used for drinks as well as dining.
After the meal, I realised I had forgotten my wallet at the restaurant. The incredibly kind staff went out of their way to bring it back to our hotel, which was above and beyond. Thank you for making our evening so special—we would love to return the next time...
Read moreWe sat down for a small lunch by chance here. We had an Onion Soup, and a lunch menu which was a Carrot Soup + Chicken Provinciale. We paid 27.50€ in total. 18 for the lunch menu and 9.50 for the Onion soup. The lunch deal is until 14:30, we ordered at 14:25 and they were kind enough to serve us the lunch deal. Staff is super friendly, speaks English. Gave us a great seat. The atmosphere inside is awesome, silent music, one waiter was singing himself songs, so fun! We were given a bottle of water with glasses and a basket with bread for FREE. I’ve had places where they give you the water and bread and then they charge you. It’s great here. The onion soup was tasty. Had a LOT of cheese in it, so good. The carrot soup was very nice. Chicken came with a pot of pasta and some salad so it’s bog dish! It’s a Bistrot with good prices and...
