Haïnan chicken rice X mr. Coco — Restaurant in Paris

Owner is a very charming person, speak Cantonese, bring us the menu, and offer attentive service throughout our meal and check in often as well. We enjoyed the hainan chicken rice and hainan chicken soup. The chicken are very well seasoned however I am used to eating chicken that are more tender. The soup was very hot and accompany well on a rainy day but I found it unable to finish due to the amount of saltiness, so I left the soup unfinished. We were looking for a place where to have lunch close to Galeries Lafayette and we found this little gem not so far. The restaurant inside is very tiny with few sits available. We ordered the Hainan chicken with rice, one portion of nems and one of banh cuon. The food was excellent! The nems were crunchy and the banh cuon very light and fresh combined with the sauce. One of the best haïnan chicken rice to be found in Europe, where it's very hard to find high quality Singaporean cuisine.

The chicken is extremely tender, layered with ginger & spring onion oil on top, paired with garlic spicy sauce and soy sauce on the side, accompanied by very flavourful and well-cooked chicken soup, which you can taste in the rice as well.
