Hang Meas was recommended to me by my boyfriendâs grandmother as the best, and most authentic Cambodian food in France. Hearing this, I had to give it a try. The restaurant was not hard to find given that it was located in a quiet area of the Chinatown of Paris. Upon entry, we were greeted by friendly and welcoming smiles. We were sat in the empty restaurant, which had homely decor, giving a sense of warmth.
I asked the waitress which dish she recommended, for which she said the Fish Amok. I ordered this whilst my friend ordered some dumplings.
My friend throughly enjoyed her dumplings, saying that both the filling and outside wrap of the dumplings were delicious and filling.
My fish amok did not disappoint. The fresh aroma of coconut filled the air as the waitress brought the dish towards me. Paired with the soft white rice, the coconut fish amok was out of this world. The fish was soft, and flavours on point. It felt like a home-cooked meal, made with love. I devoured the dish and still look back now dreaming about how delicious it was.
Next time I visit Paris, I will come again to try other dishes. Delicious food in great portions! And such...

The issue I have with this restaurant is that the menu has no price except the desert page. All food has no price! What does that mean? Does the restaurant name the price depending on who eats there? We ordered a chicken appetizer, a pho, a combo noodle salad (big), and three mango smoothies. The bill was 90 Euro. Keep in mind this is not a fancy restaurant. Itâs a typical restaurant in Chinatown. If this is the correct price, Iâd recommend to list the price for all food on the menu, so us tourists wouldnât feel that we mightâve gotten...
