My partner and I had an unfortunate experience at the Hoppy Corner. We arrived around 6:00 PM, only to be denied entry by an employee who was quite rude and blocked the entrance. Despite his insistence that the bar was full, that was visibly not the case and we noticed two patrons leaving in front of our eyes, which made it even more bewildering that we were turned away. This was my first experience of being denied entry to a bar, and it was quite a shock. Staff are cheerful and knowledgeable about the beer, they were happy to tell me about several and taste a few. The prices are fair too. Around 4-5 euro for a half pint 7-9 euro for the pint.
