L'Insolite — Restaurant in Paris

My wife and I enjoyed this cafe very much. This was our last dinner in Paris, it was late and near the hotel so we figured we would give it try. Food was great, but the owner was even better, he was also our server, and was very friendly. Talked to us and answered all our questions about Paris, and about the neighborhood the cafe is in since it’s not in a busy area in the city. He said he has more locals come by to hang out and have drinks and food. It’s a small cafe and bar, so it’s more intimate. Just a very personal experience because of him. We won’t forget that. Felt like we were having dinner with a friend. If we are ever back in Paris, I will find this place again for that...

Excellent service and truly good, fresh and well prepared food! Worth the excellent ratings it already has! As a very pregnant woman, my partner and I were so well taken care of it was an absolute pleasure to have found this restaurant so close to where I will be delivering (Clinique St. Thérèse).

The owner was very kind to ensure the rumsteak was cooked to my liking and needs, and that my partner’s overcooked preference was as he liked!

We enjoyed a nice quiet dinner here pretty late in the evening. We were tended to very well. The onion soup was probably the best I’ve ever had. We had to bring dinner back to our kiddo who wanted to stay behind in our hotel. The owner was super gracious and allowed us to leave with the a coke bottle so she’d have something to drink with her food.
