Mezzencore — Restaurant in Paris

I recently ordered from Mezzencore, a Lebanese restaurant that brings authentic Middle Eastern flavors right to your doorstep. The ordering process was easy, and delivery was timely, which was a great start. When the food arrived, it was clear that care had been taken in packaging everything to maintain the freshness of each dish.

The food itself was a delightful mix of traditional Lebanese dishes with a modern twist. I tried a few different items, including the hummus, baba ghanouj,tabbouleh, taouk rkakat and Meat shawarma. The hummus was creamy and rich. The rkakat had a perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and flavorful inside—definitely one of the best I’ve had from a delivery.

As for the taouk and shawarma beef, they were perfectly seasoned, tender, and cooked just right, making them the highlight of the meal. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted fresh.

The only downside was that the tabbouleh needs more sauce.

To be honest, the service was quite good, staff were friendly and welcoming. However, the food itself really didn’t live up to expectations. Both my wife and I found it quite tasteless and not at all on par with the authentic Lebanese flavors we’ve enjoyed elsewhere. It could have been an off night or just not to our taste, but it really didn't hit the mark for us. We ended up grabbing some food from a local corner shop afterward because we were still hungry and not really satisfied.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience here. The prices are extremely high compared to the portions they serve. I ordered a plate of kafta and was shocked to see that it came with only one small piece of kafta. How can a plate possibly be considered a meal with just that? It felt insulted as a customer to be served such a tiny portion at such a high cost. Definitely not worth the money, and I left feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. I had to order another lunch from a different restaurant right after. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking...
