This hotel is located in a safe and quiet area, with metro station 5 minutes away. It gets a 1 star (there is no zero star option) due to non existent service. Everything is left to the front desk employee who cannot do much. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon (elevator has not been working for almost two weeks already), unpacked and stored all my valuables in the room safe before heading out. Upon my return around 10 pm, discovered that the safe was not working and could not access my items. Code was correct but safe door latch was stuck. To my surprise, the front desk was closed and there is NO ONE on site. Nobody answered the phone at the number provided, left a VM and then contacted the emergency number. Turns out to be a remote service in Grenoble, nowhere near Paris. Spent $$ on the phone calling from my US phone only to be told someone would either call me back or email me. Still no access to my laptop, IDs, medication or money stuck in the safe. Obviously nobody did. Same scenario repeated on Sunday when the front desk attendant showed up w breakfast around 10:30 am (instead of 8:30 am). Reiterated the urgency of the situation with the employee but he was in no situation to help and could not get hold of his management team. Makes sense since this place had no intent of providing any service on the weekend (it is like normal that a residence hotel shuts down for the weekend. Welcome to France). On day 3, once they showed up on site, I was told a tech will be coming up in few minutes to unlock the safe. Half hour later, still nobody. Walked down to the office only to find the attendant and his manager minding their business with zero sense of urgency. I threatened to call the police and file a complaint to get my valuables back. Obviously a tech was in my room minutes later. By that time, I had lost my entire weekend stay, did not take my medication and had run out of money. Bottom line, this hotel is run like a bank. If you have an issue, wait till the next business day. I would NOT recommend this place if it was free. Stay away and find a place that runs like a...

Keep this Paris gem between us.||||I am delighted with my stay at the ResidHotel Paris Impérial Rennequin. I was travelling solo to visit exhibitions and I walked absolutely everywhere. The location is perfect. The 17th is a lovely area, very attractive, quiet and safe with just enough amenities; supermarkets, boulangeries, bistros, asian eateries, pharmacies, boutiques, and metro stations should you require them. When I left Paris, it took 45 minutes door-to-door to reach Montparnasse train station by foot and metro. Otherwise, during my week I walked as far as the Fondation Louis Vuitton in the west and the Arab World Institute in the South-East. It was perfect.||The two gentlemen whom I interacted with at reception were lovely and extremely welcoming and professional. The building and public area is very attractive, there is a lift as well as a stairs option. Everywhere was clean and pleasant.||I was extremely satisfied with my accommodation. The kitchenette certainly had everything I needed and I appreciated the large security box, good shower and big fluffy towels. The room is very spacious. Lots of room to move around, with a large bright picture window, huge bed and generous terrace, all of which I...
