L'Orient des Champs — Restaurant in Paris

I absolutely love Lebanon and Lebanese food, but unfortunately this restaurant was a huge disappointment – 0 for the food and 0 for the service.

The “shawarma” was not a shawarma at all, just some plain grilled chicken in commercial bread overloaded with lettuce. I’ve eaten thousands of Lebanese sandwiches in my life, and this was by far the least authentic. Everything felt reheated in a microwave/oven instead of freshly prepared.

To make things worse, the service was terrible. When I politely asked for a tissue after washing my hands, the woman serving snapped at me to go back and use the hand dryer – which I couldn’t for health reasons. The place was empty, yet service was extremely slow, and the attitude made the experience even worse.

Overall, this was one of the most disappointing Lebanese meals I’ve ever had. Definitely not...
