LE BARIBAL — Restaurant in Paris

Very average food and below average service.We were asked to sit after which no one came back. Another group of locals walked in after us. They were seated Immediately and given bread with butter. The owners immediately took their order while we waited. She then realized that no one had come our way and took our order. I ordered the duck but the owner later came back and told me that they didn’t have any. The table waitress then got us our wine but still no bread. We had to ask for that! I guess they assumed that since we were not locals we don’t eat bread!? The owner then came with the wine, because the other waitress didn’t communicate with her. Food however was better.Both the lamb chop and the salmon was cooked perfectly but lacked seasoning. On a separate note the waitress cleared our table and used our left over pieces (2 small pieces)of bread and mixed it with other pieces and served it to another table. Will not...

It was a dissapointment We got a table by the window and because the windows are not closing properly my knees froze while we ate I ordered pork& pepper sauce& french fries from the special menu on the little board and my husband some steak with roasted ved. They mixed the sides, I didn’t say anything but the carrots& courgettes were thinly sliced and boiled to an almost mush and out of 5 pcs of meat 2 were medium… I don’t eat pork with blood thank you very much. My husbands chips were good and he ate 90% of the steak So don’t eat pork& veg and don’t sit by the window...

Steak was too tough too eat, wouldn’t have bothered leaving a review had the waitress not have tried to steal from us. I offered a 5 euro tip and she added 25 euro onto the eftpos machine. When I asked her to show me the machine and she had it pointed so I could not see, hoping I would tap my card I pointed out it was 25 euro too much. She then said “oh sorry I thought you said 10 euro” no I didn’t and even if I had, why are you trying to help yourself to another 15 euro on top of that!...
