La Boissonnière Sentier — Restaurant in Paris

This place had a really, really cool vibe. We got there early and it started off on a great note as the person helping us spoke incredible English even though I tried my best to speak as much French as I could (I’ve gotten much better service when I at least try). I should have asked for his name but I think he was the manager (my receipt says Gerant). He was very charming and just great which is what would make me come back or recommend it to others. He suggested local beers and guided us through a great meal. Tapas is a great idea and we started off with a Iberian ham charcuterie. We wanted to keep coming back but only had a few days in Paris. If you are like I was earlier tonight, nwe to Paris scrolling through all of the many restaurants looking for tasty French casual dining that can impress your inlaws look no further. As an industry person myself watching the small team of three serve a full and pumping restaurant was really a show. It was almost like watching dancers on a stage. Not one movement wasted, not one stumble. I am no word smith, so I will just say that the food was well above my expectations. The octopus was perfect. The eggplant was probably the best I have ever had. This was all brought to us with a fantastic funky chardonnay that paired incredibly well. All together, our meal was well priced and tasty. Good job! I will be coming back again...

Having a great time late at night. Stood in an AirB&B with Julian a local host. Hey lag brought me out at night and found this quaint stop right up the block open until 2am.
