Don’t recommend this hotel. The most scariest experience. We were travelling with my friend and two kids. I completely understand that unexpected things can happen during trips, and you can’t always prepare for everything. However, this was different. There was no hot water in our hotel room, so we couldn’t use the shower or wash up at all. When we pointed this out to the hotel, they said they couldn’t do anything about it. When we went to the reception to clarify the situation, the hotel called security to stand around us. The situation was threatening. I am a 160 cm tall, small-sized woman, as is my friend. After two nights, the hotel promised to change our room, but without any compensation, even though the new room would have been much smaller and worse. They also promised to refund our breakfast. At the same time, the hotel owner started threatening us again and called a large security guard to join him. The next morning, we went to breakfast, which ultimately hadn’t been set up at all. The hotel owner returned with the security guard, shouting and threatening us, demanding payment for the breakfast, even though we had agreed otherwise. The situation was truly scary. We would have called the police if we hadn’t been in a hurry to get to the airport. Despite numerous attempts, the hotel refused to compensate us in any way for the two days and nights we spent without a shower, and the subsequent threats we faced. Conversations with them were impossible. The hotel was overall frightening and a very unpleasant experience for two women. Obviously the owner couldn`t take that women were giving him feeback. Their playbook is to blame customer and...
Read moreThe room was an utter disaster. Just look at the pictures! It looks more like a 3 star prison cell! The wallpapers are peeling off the wall, there are holes in doors, color peeling off, the bathroom looks like it did not see any work since decades. The first impression - the room is tiny (2 by 4 meters) and the bathroom - 2 sq.m. in total. And the smell! Seems like somebody died in the room before me. I had to keep windows wide open the whole time. The bathroom has no ventilation so that smelled disgusting even with windows wide open. There is no noise isolation so you can clearly hear others. The cleaning staff did a poor job ... one time I noticed that they left the toilet unfinished (with blue cleaning chemicals on the seat). The staff seems uninterested in guests ... I stayed 4 nights and had my room key activated for only one day (so I had to go twice down to get my room key reactivated). There is an elevator in the hotel - that broke down on arrival day (luckily it was fixed in a day). The breakfast is rather poor - cereals, French croissants, coffee and cookies. The breakfast staff does not speak English at all. There were also oranges and apples, but those were not fresh. No hot breakfast.
TL;DR - run! Better keep away! This has been the worst hotel experience I...
Read moreOn the second night I woke up in the middle of the night to a man entering our room (wife and kids aged 3 & 6), I challenged him and physically removed him from the room (he feigned drunkness). In the morning I complained about how someone had managed to get in our room and was told it was impossible. Another man came to reception and said he’d been robbed while at breakfast and intercepted the robber in the elevator moments later. There was a scuffle in the reception and the intruder ran off. I complained yet again about how this could possibly happen, that a non guest could simply walk into the hotel and enter a number of rooms without a key card. The reception got very defensive and blamed us, suggesting we had left the door on the latch during the night. After going back up to inspect the door it was discovered that this door and a number of others could simply be opened without a keycard. No apology given and hotel staff were very rude and unhelpful the rest of the stay. Door was fixed within a couple of hours. Found it hard to believe a hotel doesn’t know that several door were broken. Do not stay here if you value safety...
