LA PETITE ROTONDE — Restaurant in Paris

This is a typical French restaurant that are there on every corner in Paris. Most dishes on menu are very traditional and not very inventive. We ordered a Pasta primavera to go. The pasta looked like it was stored in some container and simply packed to go. The pasta smelled stale, the vegetables were off colored from sitting in a container. How difficult is to to make pasta with some nice olive oil? Very poor quality for €18. UPDATE: The owner responded with strange assumptions. Let me clarify; 1. We ate the pasta almost immediately, meaning, our hotel was across from the restaurant. So there was no time for the vegetables to condense. I am very conscientious about my reviews as it may impact a business. I can guarantee that this place had the pasta in some container and it was almost nearing a stale throw in the bin state. I am an avid cook and had my own rEstaurant at one time. I bake, cook every day since I was a child. This place is selling bad food and trying to profit from tourists...

I visited this restaurant with my mother while on vacation. We don’t speak French BUT it didn’t make much of a difference. The service was PHENOMENAL! The owner took time to explain the menu and options to us. Informed us of authentic cuisines and provided recommendations. We took his word and EVERYTHING was delicious from start (drinks and appetizers) to finish (dessert)!!!! This is a must visit location in Paris!!!

Relaxed atmosphere, with good food, drinks, and service.

I ordered the cheeseburger and a beer. The fries were a little under cooked for my liking, but tasted good. No complaints about the burger, but now that I think about it, even though it was listed as a cheeseburger, I don't think there was any cheese. Doesn't matter though, it tasted good!
