This was my third visit to this restaurant, and while I was aware that the service tends to be slow, my experience yesterday was particularly disappointing. We ordered a Sprite, an arancini as a starter, and two pasta dishes. After a considerable wait, we received the arancini, but without any cutlery. My cocktail had also not arrived by this point.
The server noticed the lack of cutlery and assured us that they would be brought immediately. However, after waiting for more than 10 minutes without any further assistance, we had to go inside and request them ourselves, as we were seated on the terrace.
A server eventually brought the cutlery, but by then, the food had gone cold. We requested a replacement, and although the server agreed, what was brought back was the same arancini, simply reheated. I had already taken a photo and could tell that it was the same dish, which is completely unacceptable.
When we raised this issue with another server, we were told that the original server was new and that the restaurant was extremely busy. While I understand that, it does not excuse the lack of attention and poor service we experienced.
