We had breakfast this morning at this place based on the good reviews. Unfortunately we experienced something completely different. The waiter was super unattendive (the place was only half filled) and turned out to have an unfriendly attitude as well. When we finally caught his attention, we ordered an espresso, croissant and scrambled eggs and one small breakfast with an extra bread. When we received our meal, we were served two small breakfast and the eggs were missing. We guessed it might have been too much to carry, but the waiter didn't return. After what felt like half an hour (it was probably 15-20 minutes) and several attempts to get the waiters attention again, he responded that the eggs are in preparation. He came back another 5 minutes later with a small bowl of luke warm eggs. We ordered the check right away. This time it went really fast....but it was wrong: far too low. It had only one small breakfast, a croissant and an espresso on it. We made the waiter aware and he promptly came back with another check for the additional eggs - another fail. It still did neither reflect what we ordered not what we consumed. So we ended up leaving 5,30 EUR on the table matching the total due for what we consumed. Conclusion: if you want to start a sunny Paris morning with a bad breakfast experience, this is your place to go! P.S. I am wondering if the waiter put the left money in his pockets and what the owner might think about multiple wrong bills. I guess its about making money in this buisness as...

I stayed at a hotel close by while working the Olympics for 21 days - from July 22nd - August 12th. I must have visited this beautiful establishment at least 40 times. After the first few visits (while having minimal time to explore and find a variety of other places to eat) I decided - why venture far when the best is so close? Throughout my frequency I tried the entire menu and every dish was spectacular. Contrary to a few whiney reviews I read on here - the staff are amazing. They work their asses off. They were kind enough to give me local recommendations of other great restaurants. They knew what I wanted to drink within the first few visits. Specifically Fabien, Svet, Loic and Youssef (and even David, I guess) - they all made me feel right at home! The owner was very kind and it was clear he was passionate about his establishment. I have nothing but good memories from Le Murmure Francassant. Thank you everyone! Vive la Cotes de Gascogne! Vive La Murmure! I will be...

As a tourist, I found it difficult to order. They have an online menu in english but you don’t recognize any food. They list some ingredients and you just hope it’s good. So I choose safe. A vegetarian burger and a plate of cheese. It was ok and comeback the next morning to have breakfast. They list on a blackboard small breakfast and big breakfast. You can only be sure about coffee on both and some eggs on the big one. I asked for the big option and they said they don’t serve big breakfast on weekends… so I got a small breakfast which is a croissant and a coffee. Just for this, you’re better off with the Starbuck across the street The tables are small and packed together. The toilet is downstairs and if you’re tall like me, you’ll bang your head on the sealing as you go down the stairs. Loud people, no music, lame atmosphere.

The staff were very friendly and provided great service. However, I found the food really disappointing. The staff recommended us the croissant and claimed it’s ‘the best’. So I awaited with high expectations. Regrettably, the croissant was doughy and lacked the desired layers and crispness. For the cappuccino, it looked really enticing but tasted watery and had weak coffee base. The hot chocolate is ok and orange juice is freshly squeezed, offering a refreshing note. Taking everything into consideration, I may conclude that the breakfast set is overpriced considering its subpar quality of the dish. It is hoped that the restaurant could improve their food quality.
