Small cafe featuring many French favorites. Unfortunately, we are not French speakers but the servers did not miss a beat - very friendly and very patient. The wife went with the french cheeseburger, which was a lot like its american counterpart but it uses real cheese - absolutely delicious. I went with the Tartare, which I did not understand at all - but i wanted to go French, YOLO. It’s rare hamburger served cool - after the initial shock, as you can’t do this in the US without risking significant complications, I dove in. This place was delicious! I highly recommend, especially to English-speaking tourists. I enjoyed a medium-well steak with salad and finished with a rich hot chocolate cake. It was incredibly delicious. The restaurant is also right next to the metro, where I easily got back to my Airbnb. The waiters and waitresses do speak English (although some more than others); they not only translate your French menu, but also engage with you in pleasant conversation. Our waitress was very kind, fun, and polite, and ensured that I enjoyed the meal. The bill was not very expensive for Parisian dining....

Great homely food and perfect portion sizes. The staff were very friendly and were happy to talk with me in my extremely broken French. The food looked so good I ate it before I got a picture.
