Have been going to Maison Edgar location since it was under another name. When it became Maison Edgar we continued to frequent it mostly for an apero, sometimes for a meal. The fried calamari is delicious and the wine list can be interesting. We have noticed with each visit the service is more lackadaisical than the time before. Yesterday we went for lunch before taking a friend to the airport. The service was terrible and inapt, we waited 30 minutes for the food, it arrived but was food was for another table. When part of our order did arrive, one salad was removed because it was prepared for "a colleague". The meal for the wait staff looked better than the salad that was brought later; most of the lettuce which was on the bottom, was brown and/ or wilted. Read moreThe reviews say it all. Everyone likes this place, and we very much agree.
This is not a tourist spot. The food here is top-notch, as well as the drinks and service.
The prices are reasonable, very reasonable for the quality and presentation.
Watch. The staff moves quickly, almost running to keep the customers happy.
We ate here many times and without fail, no matter the rush, the staff remained cool and calm, with huge helpful smiles.
They always had time to explain dishes or chat.
The proof is in the pudding. The restaurant hosts an eclectic crowd.

Then all that changes in the evening when we'll dress people meet up for a special evening dinner.
Read the reviews. So many people could not be getting this...
Read moreWe took a large group here for dinner during a study abroad trip. They were able to accommodate a reservation for our party (of 11) the evening before we wanted to dine. I personally recommend the raviolis des gambas, the sea bass, and...
