Le Parvis Pompidou — Restaurant in Paris

This was embarassing. Although on 6th September I and two friends had a great time there, with the waiter being extremely helpful and polite. However, another time, on the 10th September, the waiter was impolite, inconsiderate and unprofessional. I guess the reason for that is that he didn't speak a word in English and trying to communicate in this language annoyed him. Apparently he is not that comfortable with foreigners since as soon as we arrived with another friend and spoke in English he continued speaking in French and literally threw the catalogue to the hands of my friend. We wanted to pay separately by card but we couldnt and I had to pay the whole thing. I would suggest non-French speaking people...

What a wonderful experience! For the past four days, I’ve had breakfast and brunch here, and each time was perfect. The location is fantastic, the food is delicious and affordable.

A special compliment to Lucas, who has served us with so much love and enthusiasm every time. He does his job with a big smile and makes you feel truly welcome. His genuine kindness and attention make all the difference. You can tell he works from the heart, which makes the whole experience even more special.

Absolutely recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

Lotta bad reviews on here. I guess I came on a better day lol. Beef carpaccio was sooo good. Beers ice cold. Wine is delicious. Our server was busy but still so kind. Only thing I don't like is that they bring a bill with every order ie. Ordered the meal - bill. Ordered a beer- bill. Other than that I have no complaints. Enjoy!

Update! When we wanted to pay the bill with credit card the waiter did get awkwardly rude. We had a language barrier but the body language was obvious. Changing my review from four stars to...
