Le Ruisseau — Restaurant in Paris

An excellent place for a burger in Paris. Thoroughly scouted. Staked-out for nearly two hours at La Piscine bar nearby, waiting for it to open. The burger? Excellent bunage: sweet, rounded, glazed. Warm mouthfeel with professional patty : bun : pickle : cheese : onion : jalapeño : mustard ratio. There was some runniness and tactical eating but this didn't slow me down or spoil my enjoyment. The patty was good with a tiny bit of visible juice at the onset without escaping the confines of the bun. A distinct lack of crunch with onions below the patty and no lettuce in the bun. Accoutrements were solid without being spectacular, so I can't give them top marks. Good dipping sauce, strong mustard flavour, skin on chips (a bowl between two) and lightly-dressed slightly...

Easily one of the best burgers in Paris. Most of the burger joints in Paris try to hard to fancy up the hamburger and make it more French. This is why most places in Paris can’t make a proper hamburger, the beauty is in the simplicity. Le Ruisseau understands this and makes a perfect simple yet amazing burger. Their cheddar burger is my favorite from their wide selection of burgers to choose from (including a veggie burger option). I get this burger double patties and with bacon. The fries here are also top and always on point. If you are a tourist and want to take a break from French cuisine, this is a great place to go and have an awesome burger. I used to come here all the time, since they opened, because it was right in front of my house, but also because It was always delicious. Best burger I had ever tried honestly! But came back last week with a friend and I was disappointed. The burger was dry, like if it had been cooked for a while, and same for the fries, they were all hard and not very warm... The sauce that came with it was different as the one they used to serve (not as nice) and also they removed the salad side that came with every burger that I really liked.

Anyway, just wanted to give my opinion as I love this place. Will give it another try...
