Le Sully — Restaurant in Paris

They have very rude staff! My 2 friends and I were sitting and working while ordering a few things. The rain started, and I had only been there for about 25-30 minutes. My friendsuggestes this place before. We had asked the staff if we could work on our laptops, and they gave us permission.

However, later, another employee started arguing with us, yelling and demanding that we leave. Even other people sitting nearby defended us. We were just sitting quietly, but that older employee kept making comments at us for no reason and arguing.

What do you want from us? To place a new order every 10 minutes? What you did was...

This awful establishment would not allow me to use the bathroom, despite the fact that it’s common practice for such a place in Paris. This is a pretentious and awful establishment, and should never be frequented by anyone. I am sure that the arrogant man refused me because I am an African American woman. I know for a fact that they do allow people who are not eating in the establishment to use their restrooms. But I was refused because of the color of my skin, and the evil hearts of the personnel. Do not give them a dime, unless you to believe in racist...

This is one of my preferred bars in Paris. Probably the cheapest beer in downtown (?). Full of interesting people but at the same time calm enough for you to read the newspapers if you get a seat in the back.
