TLDR: TOURIST BEWARE. Poor service and even worse food. EXORBITANT prices that do not correlate in store / online. ?fake reviews as establishment not open when early reviews posted.

My partner and I visited as a couple. Booked online for a Wednesday evening. Arrived and was lead inside before the man just walked away without any direction as to where to sit. A lovely older lady eventually showed us a place to sit.

We then sat and waited… for a total of 35 minutes before anyone attended to us. No greeting, no menu, no water, no cutlery. The table was dirty from the waiter using it as a work station prior and was not cleaned throughout our sitting.

Even after walking up and asking for a menu, we were ignored for a further 15 minutes. We tried to see the menu online (via the provided QR code) but this didn’t work and no one cares to check everything is in order.

As we were just about to leave, someone came and asked for our order. Big mistake was not walking out, but he was nice enough to make me stay and try the food given the reviews.

Nothing improved. Horrible food. Steak ($27 euro, online $23 euro) was one cheap steak cut pilled on top of each other. The octopus ($28 euro, online $23 euro) could’ve been eaten in one bite. Both dishes tasted exactly the same. The salad was literally leaves and two baby tomatoes. Nothing else. Subsequently needed to ask for cutlery to eat the meal…

To top it off, 4-5 waiters just ignore me while trying to pay for the bill. He goes to pour a few beers with me literally standing there for around 5 minutes.

After spending 1 week in Paris, I know this level of service is NOT NORMAL nor should it be expected. Maybe treated differently as...

Terrible, rude and unfriendly waiter ruined my daughter's birthday dinner. Such a disappointment as all the other staff we spoke to, from booking to raising our issues with the rudeness, were lovely but our waiter was so unfriendly that it totally ruined our evening. Didn't listen so got our order wrong, served my daughter meat when she's vegetarian, served me cheese when I'm vegan, forgot a starter, didn't bring drinks order - no apology and felt unnecessarily rushed when the restaurant was practically empty. Also freezing cold so not a comfortable environment to eat dinner in. Food was fine but definitely wouldn't return. All fluff and no substance - sort out...
