Extremely rude and disrespectful wait staff and this includes the owner who allows this. Please read my review before going and also scroll down and notice the other reviews talking about the behavior of the wait staff.

I sent my son to dine here tonight and the wait staff was extremely rude and impatient. Very disappointed. I will not be traveling and spending any money at Lutece Cafe anytime soon. All I wanted was for my son was to have a great experience. I will be talking about this experience to anyone dining in the neighborhood.

My son had to leave this restaurant because they made him feel extremely uncomfortable and that he didn’t belong there. I guess this restaurant only caters to the locals and doesn’t care much for Americans.

Its a shame that the owner of this restaurant allows this type of atmosphere. I was really looking forward to taking my entire family out here. I will be glad going elsewhere.

You could read further reviews how rude and obnoxious the wait staff are. I would suggest skipping this restaurant.

Check out trip advisor and notice all of the reviews about the wait staff and owner. Please make your own decision if you decide to dine. Good luck.

I hope this review wakes up the ownership of this restaurant to help make them better. I don’t like seeing any business go...

Decided to try this place because it was recommended by our host at our Airbnb. Definitely a very local spot so I wouldn’t recommend a tourist come here. Unfortunately there was only one waiter that spoke somewhat English so it made it difficult to order. Kitchen does close and reopen at 7 PM which we were not aware of so we did stay and wait. The food was OK. I was not really impressed. The fries were really greasy and soggy. The Caesar salad was OK. The pizza was good. Had leftovers and reheated it for the next day and it still tasted good. Overall, the restaurant was so so. Ate inside because it was crowded outside, but all the smell from the cigarettes come straight inside the restaurant so very little...

Lutece was a cafe we passed almost daily during my stay and it was always busy. We decided to stop by and eat there. They didn't have eggs burgundy but I saw that as a menu item from over a year ago so I wasn't disappointed. I tried the Lutece pizza and it was amazing. More than I could eat myself and very delicious. Good beer and prices as well. The menu is offered in a variety of languages via QR code. The servers were also very attendant and friendly. They spoke English which is good because my French is dreadfully bad. It was a great cafe which the locals seemed to...

The decor of the place is indifferent. It has a distinct smell indoors which is not very pleasing. Service was friendly but average. They mixed up the order ( we cancelled one item and replaced it with another but they ended up bringing both). The coffee was also basic. It was not well prepared and resembled a latte rather than a proper cappuccino! Would probably visit again only if I wanted a quick drink

I ordered duck breast with mushrooms and vegetables and my friend ordered chicken with crispy onions and rice, it was good, but not amazing. The place is nice, low lights vibes, but it feels that the glasses and the table were sticking. The waiter was gentle, we spoke English and it was okay.
