I booked based on the good reviews and overlooked the bad. Sadly, my meal was not prepared as I ordered it, and they charged me full price and didn't offer me a different option. I left feeling very ripped off. I ordered the seafood paella with soft cooked rice. I was served undercooked, hard, chewy rice, with a few shavings of seafood, I guess? There wasn't even a piece of shrimp in it that I could see. The dessert was licorice flavored. Creative, but who wants to eat that. There was no English menu, so it was a stab in the dark. Walked out feeling very ripped off, unimportant and not a valued customer at all. Will never return. Will never recommend it. Regret it. Out 57 euros, but they did comp me the water! Horrible experience.

Kalank is a charming Mediterranean restaurant near Place de la Nation in Paris. The warm and inviting decor transports you to the south of France, featuring straw lampshades that create a cozy ambiance. The menu offers a selection of delicious, well-prepared dishes made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The service is attentive and friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone seeking a taste of Provence in the heart of Paris.

Absolutely phenomenal dinner all around. The food, ambience and service were the best I've experienced in a long time! Definitely recommend going for the full chefs choice menu and wine pairings, you won't regret it! As fine dining enthusiasts, my husband and I both agree this is an experience not to be missed. Go! Go now!

Adorable new restaurant in Paris 20th arrondissement serving authentic French provencal food! Thanks to Owner Patrick and his lovely team for an excellent evening. Wonderful and refined, all dishes are fresh and ingredients are of top quality! The main I took was a fish dish with Rascasse and a touch of the famous Bouillabesse Marseillaise accompanied by sweet and juicy cockles. It was perfectly cooked and full of flavours. Their cocktails and vin list offer some amaszing drinks....the Spritz is to die for! Did I mention the deco? I felt transported to the south of France as soon as I stepped into the bright and warm atmosphere of a seaside hut! A must to visit for French...
