Monsieur Antoine — Restaurant in Paris

I have heard of Monsieur Antoine for years since, it is in my preferred Parisian neighborhood. It was kismet when we bumped into the drinking establishment on a Wednesday night in May. Most of the patrons were sitting outside, but we are barflies and enjoy sitting at the bar. I was already quite tipsy by the time we found Monsieur Antoine, and I became increasingly toasted as the night wore on. I began talking music as if I was Professor Longhair, and the owner Vincent and his compadre Rico played James Brown and Bombino for me, two of my favorite artists. The interior design of the bar will make you travel through time and space, hence why you never spend less than 3h there!

And the staff is awesome : Aymeric, the manager is hard working and all about good client experience. Celia is swift and believe it or not, has the same voice as Scarlett Johansson.

This is an amazing place. As someone that travels solo it is very important to find a nice bar and this bar is great in every way. The bartenders are super friendly and really made me feel at home while I stayed in Paris. Their cocktails are delicious, the atmosphere is very relaxing and they play great music. Also the other folks that frequent the bar are equally friendly, just an all around good place to be. Would highly recommend coming...
