🇬🇧 Mori Cafe: London's Hidden Japanese Gem! 🍵✨

First of all I'd like to say that I'm not vegan and only one of the 3 people I came with is. What brought us to Mori Café is the fact that we all love Japanese delicacies. We sat on cute tatamis on the top floor. The decor in the restaurant is very chic and cozy. We then ordered the miso ramen, the aubergine donburi , and the bento. All of them were absolutely delicious! Its hard to find a vegan ramen in Paris, and this ramen is amazing. For desert, we had the roasted tea marble cake, sesame cheesecake, sakura leaf flan and yuzu tart. I am a desert fanatic and I can undubitatively say that they are to die for! The chef is definitely a master at what she does. The owner is passionate and very kind, so 5 stars for the staff. Mori café is the first vegan Japanese Café in Paris, and I can say that it will satisfy the palates of any person regardless of their diet. Five stars, highly recommend! Careful, the place might get popular quickly, it only seats 26.

This place is perfect for vegans and vegetarians. If you’re a meat-eater, the appeal can be slightly reduced. The service is very fast and friendly. The chefs are Japanese and the food is good, but not outstanding. I would say this is more like a vegan version of Japanese fast food; in particular, the Udon salad sauce and the pickled onions are a bit too salty for my taste. If you’re used to outstanding Japanese food from coastal towns of the U.S., you might be slightly disappointed. Still, I would say it’s good Japanese food by Paris standards, and excellent by vegan standards. Portion-size is a bit small for the price. American Express accepted.
