we had really high hopes for this restaurant given it's high ratings and the fact we were told it was a gastronomic experience. We went for lunch and got the 3 course meal. The service and ambience were on point, but the food itself was disappointing, to say the least. The vegetables in the main dish and fruit in the desserts were mushy- they seemed like they came out of a jar or freezer bag, rather than being fresh. The pasta with ham was basically glorified mac n cheese. Also, there was gunk/mold on the mouth of the water bottle that got into our water glasses and fruit flies buzzing around us the whole time. We ordered the Spring Pollen Prix Fixe menu and thoroughly enjoyed the food, experience, service, and ambiance. During the meal, we were given countless of snacks from the house, and each were truly delicious. The prefix items were terrific, and the ingredients and composition of the dishes were also really innovative. The snacked red mullet was spectacular, and the service was also Michelin level. We were even given a personalized letter from the restaurant and a snack bag to take home at the end of our meal. Got reservations on a night with a Jazz Trio during dinner. Was seated in lovely dining space with cozy table with nice ambiance where we could hear each other have conversation and enjoy music. Very comfortable and thoughtful space and cool decor, our server explained the concept of chefs five course dinner and other offerings unique to their concept. Had very nice meal. Unfortunately, woke up with food poisoning and I am certain it was this dinner, although it was not one item that I am certain there were many raw and cooked elements that were included in the chef’s special.
