Found this location because the restaurant I was going to was no longer seating. At first I was disappointed that I was not able to have one last French meal but then I got happy to find a thai restaurant across the street.
I love thai food and can tolerate a mediocre thai food over mediocre Chinese food. So I was at least happy to find a warm meal. Did not expect to have a culinary experience that is going to nightlight Paris as my favorite thai restaurant in the world. I have to say I have been to Bangkok many times and I can confidently say this restaurant is bringing all the flavors you would expect from thai food to Paris.
Very comforting staff and had really great recommendations based on the three dishes I had selected. She helped recommend the one that would be best for the cold weather outside and most delicious.
I got the pork bone broth with noodles. The broth is pork bone and pork blood. It’s a very traditional thai dish. Also have very tender slices of pork and slices of pork liver. Very very high quality rice noodles. I highly recommend this.
Next was the papaya salad that was really flavorful. Had chopped peanuts and whole peanuts. A wonderful flavor of garlic and fish sauce. I cleaned every plate and bowl.
Then I ordered a mango sticky rice for dessert. The sticky rice had great flavor and the mango was tender and ripe in December. I don’t know how they did it but it was delicious.
Food was so delicious I had to take Togo the pork stew over rice for later snack in the hotel room. Really enjoyed my meal and my...

Everything was like eating in Thailand seriously!
My favorite is Krapaw Mhoo, somtum and everything else. How can I forget mentioning Thai omelette - kai Jeow!! You will live it no matter what. Also you kids will do.
Thai trick is; you eat spicy food like Pad Krapow Mhoo and then pair it with Thai omelette for a milder combination. It’ll be your unforgettable experience. But if you prefer a soup- choose a clear soup.
Krapaw is like authentic style without any baby corns, onions, and carrots - it’s a crime having other veggies besides basil leaves.
Kitchen preparations are fast. Don’t have to wait for a long queue.

Read moreWas missing Thailand a little bit today and wanted really authentic food, and I'm really happy I chose this place for lunch. Everything was really good, the som tam salad (they made it actually spicy which is rare in Paris), pad thai (actually the best one i've had maybe), fried fish, and mango sticky rice. The portions are decent, except maybe the dessert, and we paid 70 euros for 2 without drinks, which did feel a bit expensive. Also, note that the menus posted here on maps 1 year ago aren't accurate anymore. Almost everything increased by 2-3 euros.
One negative is that the restaurant didn't feel really ventilated. We were sweating the entire time, especially considering we were seated next to the window that let in a lot of sun. Some fans or air conditioning...
