Was really looking forward to checking out this place as I’m vegetarian and the menu looked really nice and it is very close to my place. My partner and I came on Sunday at noon and it was busy, the waiter said that he can only squeeze us at the big table between two groups of people. It was crammed and uncomfortable to talk to each other. In 2 min (we haven’t made an order yet), when a separate table for two got freed up, as people left. (The waiter obviously knew that they are leaving as they have already paid before we were seated, but he didn’t offer us an option to wait for 2 min). So we asked to move the table, but the waiter refused. His explanation was that we already accepted the seats so we cannot change them (what??). I asked if that table is reserved, he said No, but we still can’t take it, as people who will come later might prefer to seat there. I visited 50 countries and lived in 5 - never have I been refused to change the table! The waiter was quite rude, so we just left. I can’t speak about the food, as I haven’t tried it and never will, because I’m not going back to the place, where I’m being treated like this. I hope the owner reads this comment and train his staff to be a bit more adequate. And congrats on loosing a potentially frequent customer! I guess he thought that if I didn’t speak French to him, I am just a tourist and won’t come back anyway, while I’m actually...
Read moreI went there for brunch with some friends and we really enjoyed the food! We had the karage & eggs benedict+ pancakes (sweet version), cheesecake and carrot cake. But we were a bit disappointed by the lack of flexibility concerning the menu options (you have to chose different options from groups A, B and C) and a friend of mine didn't want any hot beverage but she still had to get one and couldn't swap it with a cold beverage though it was part of the C options 🤷🏻♀️ and I wanted to get my hot drink at the end but as they said they had to bring everything at the same time that wasn't possible (everything did not come at the same time). Also I couldn't finish my cheesecake, so they gave me a small soft paper to take it away but of course it didn't survive 🤣😅 (and I saw when I left that they also had cardboard boxes 🤷🏻♀️). I know these are just details but they're part of the...
Read moreOverpriced and just average. I dont understand why people give them 5 stars. When there are sooooo many more better options in Paris. The quantity is kinda ridiculous compared to the overpriced prices. Second the taste is just okay. Nothing out of this world. Anyway i don’t recommend going there unless you are hungry for a brunch and dont wanna walk more. Maybe good for there thaï lunch options.
To answer to the owner response : Yes I just asked for yogurt instead of bacon , i dont think its an impossible request especially when the place was almost empty. I never asked for more fruits thats a lie. And the pancakes are nothing but savory 😆. it doesn’t excused all the other things i mentioned above. Still way overpriced like the one thin pancakes with 10g of fruits for 12 euros.. please. And if putting an egg on the side is accommodating for you.. thats really reflecting...
