We had read great reviews about Hotel Monge and were excited to book it for our honeymoon. It ended up being even better than expected! We were treated so well for our entire four days there by a staff that was extremely friendly, helpful, and fun to spend time speaking with. Unfortunately I don't have every staff member's name who we met during our stay, but they were all amazing. I can tell you that Florence, Amendine, Aneta, Constance, and Salome all were fantastic in helping us get answers to our questions before we arrived. We had to postpone our trip twice due to Covid-19 travel restrictions from the United States, but they were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. The wait was well worth it! We were impressed with the look of the hotel from the moment we walked in. Even the elevator ride up to our room had style. When we got to our room, we were thrilled to see a beautiful rose heart on our bed and special gift bags the staff had left to celebrate our honeymoon! All of the cleaning products in the bathroom were top notch. The room itself was spacious and well attended to with a very comfortable bed. We even had a balcony to look out over the city. The location is hard to beat. There was so much to do and see right around our hotel and the staff gave us excellent local recommendations. We asked for a good place to get pastries the day we arrived and got three fantastic recommendations that were all within a short walk (we got something from each of them to bring back). There is a lot to see close by and we felt good about walking just about anywhere in the city from the hotel. I also have to mention the excellent breakfast spread and the "honesty bar." These are both in the same room at different times during the day. There were so many good things to pick from at breakfast. We had days when we ate enough to take us through lunch. And the same area was converted into an "honesty bar" at night where you could pick from a variety of liquors, beers, and even champagnes to choose what you wanted at very solid prices. You simply made your own drink, wrote out what you took with your room number, and left at your leisure. Fantastic idea and great drinks just downstairs from your room! You will LOVE this place! Thank you to the amazing staff at Hotel Monge for making our honeymoon stay perfect!

Our stay at Hotel Monge in Paris was truly delightful. Nestled in the heart of the Latin Quarter, this charming boutique hotel offers a perfect blend of elegance and comfort. The location is ideal, with the Jardin des Plantes, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Pantheon all within walking distance. The nearby metro stations make it easy to explore the rest of the city. The rooms at Hotel Monge are beautifully decorated, featuring a mix of classic and modern design elements. They are impeccably clean and well-appointed, with comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and luxurious marble bathrooms. Despite being on the cozy side, the rooms are thoughtfully designed to maximize space and comfort. Some rooms even offer lovely views of the surrounding area, adding to the overall charm. The staff at Hotel Monge are exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Their recommendations for local restaurants and attractions were spot-on, and they were always ready to assist with any requests. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast, which featured a delicious selection of pastries, fresh fruits, and other treats. The hotel’s honesty bar and tea room provided a cozy spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. We also enjoyed the wellness center, which includes a hammam and offers massages for an extra charge. Overall, Hotel Monge is a gem in Paris. Its prime location, elegant rooms, and outstanding service make it a perfect choice for anyone visiting the city. Highly recommended!

20 out of 10!! I saw this hotel in 2016 & knew I had to stay here! Several trips later, here I am and it was everything I knew it would be.

The hotel has a welcoming vibe upon entry. We were greeted warmly and began the check in process in the main lounge area. Since our rooms weren't ready at the time we were checking in, we decided to go out grab lunch and return right after check-in. It is a very quaint and charming place with a small elevator, but large enough to fit a few adults.

We went up to our room and it was absolutely lovely! We had a room facing the main street with double french doors to welcome some fresh air and look out at all of the foot traffic passing underneath. The bathroom is generously sized for Paris and was absolutely adorable with L'Occitane products provided. There were sparkles in the bathroom tiles to give you a hint of fabulousness as you shower. There was also a table and two chairs along with a large TV and an extremely comfortable bed flight by two bookcase shelves on each side. I loved that they also provide bottled water and a few complimentary drinks in the fridge.

We spent every evening in the lounge area chatting amongst ourselves and made acquaintances with a lovely Brit couple that happened to be on their 10th visit to Hotel Monge.

They provide free tea and coffee all day along with snacks and a generous honor bar, which I absolutely loved. As well as a hammam in the basement. Definitely clears your pores and skin and makes you feel so refreshed!

Without question, I have found my Parisian home each...
