The Game — Local services in Paris

🌟 Absolutely p h e m o m e n a l escape company, well worth a visit 🌟 I came on a work trip to Paris (by work trip I mean I work at an escape room and we came to Paris to play a bunch of them) and our group did the Metro, the Plane, and the Kidnapping. Personally I did the Metro, and I enjoyed it the most out of all the rooms I did that day, and indeed in many many other days (I've played over 60 over the years). The quality of the game itself is superb, mixing authentic decor with challenging puzzles. The flow and paths of the puzzles were very well thought out and the stakes were very high throughout, especially heightened by the effects (don't wanna spoil too much!). The ending as well was incredible, the final solution blew our collective minds and it felt immensely satisfying to piece it together and figure it out. The rest of our group also had an awesome time doing the Plane and Kidnapping, and I have to give a big mention to the staff, who made this big well-oiled machine that is The Game run like a ticking clock. Super impressed with the set-up, and big shout-out to Mathilde, Lola, and especially our game master Maelle 👏 she judged our playing style and skills very well during the game and though we made it out with only 2min30sec or so to spare (like I said, challenging!), we had only three very vague hints that served to put us on the right path at critical moments - we were still 'allowed' to complete the puzzles and have the coin drop moment ourselves, which I value a lot, and as a GM myself I try to be mindful of not robbing the players of their a-ha moments while still helping them enough to escape on time. So massive thanks to her for the help and hospitality, and thank you to everyone involved at the Game for being so welcoming and having such high quality awesome games. Even after having done so many, the Metro really thrilled, captivated, and challenged me - definitely a top...

Wow! Having done 200+ escape rooms, this is easily in my top 5. SOOOOO unique! I hate the word "immersive" because I feel it is often misused, but the airplane room was definitely that! Haven't seen any theme like this before. We didn't escape but had so much fun. Some puzzles were hard, some were easy. Definitely have to work as a team. We like to try to get through with no clues and told our game master that, she definitely respected that but also saw when we were struggling and gave us nudges like "are you SURE you thoroughly checked that?". I can't remember her name but whoever needs to know, we had the airplane room at 22:00 on May 21 so please let her know she was amazing! I wish we were in Paris longer because we would do all 11...

The Game ne cessera jamais de nous étonner! Nous avons fait 2 salles ce jour chez eux (Les Catacombes et Far West).

Commençons par Les Catacombes déjà. Notre Game Master du jour Léo nous accueille avec un sourire jusqu’aux oreilles et nous fait un brief mémorable sur la mission. Un melange d’histoire, d’humour super qui nous fait déjà nous plonger dans la mission avant l’heure. C’est ça aussi chez The Game, la puissance des Game Master et leur implication. La salle en elle-même est superbe, immersive comme il faut, les énigmes assez relevées mais nous sortons dans les temps, ravis. Merci Leo pour le petit mot personnalisé à la fin.

Ensuite la claque du jour! Far West. Après plus de 70 Escape à notre actif, jamais nous n’avons vu une salle aussi bien réalisée, aussi immersive et aussi grande. Impressionnant de réalisme, on sent le travail avec de vrais décorateurs en amont. Ils ont mis le paquet vraiment.

Ensuite, Julien, notre Game Master, fut adorable et nous a aidé juste comme il fallait. Son brief fut aussi très sympa. Nous sortons bien dans les temps et ensuite nous avons eu un échange avec Julien sur les salles, les Escape en général. On sent les personnes passionnées par ce qu’elles font chez The Game. Ce n’est pas juste un travail pour eux, c’est une passion et ça fait plaisir. Merci pour cet échange Julien, vraiment.

En définitive, après des dizaines et des dizaines d’enseignes testées, The Game reste loin devant sur tous les points. Une véritable institution de l’EG à Paris. Vous ne pouvez pas être déçus sincèrement.

Une expérience à renouveler pour les deux dernières salles qu’il nous reste (Mission Spatiale et Braquage du Casino). Hâte de retrouver l’enseigne mais triste de ne plus pouvoir revenir pour de nouvelles missions…Quoique. On nous a chuchoté qu’une dernière salle était en cours de création avec un scénario mystère pour l’instant…. Can’t wait!!!
