We ate here after stumbling upon it walking in the area and feeling like oysters. It was such a wonderful find. The restaurant itself is small but cozy and perfectly set up for the delightful lunch we had. The two women we interacted with were amazingly welcoming to me and my husband who were spending our 10th anniversary visiting Paris for the first time. We had a wonderful conversation with them and the care they showed us from start to end was so appreciated.
The oysters are fantastic! Unfortunately, for us it appears this place is well known and so we were only able to sample two different oysters but they were fresh and hit the spot. We also had champagne and bread and butter. The mignotte they served was also delightful.
I cannot say enough about our lunch here. My only regret is that we did not have enough time to make it back for another meal! Next time we are in Paris we will definitely be in.
Thank you from the American who's skirt matched...

The man doing the shucking insisted on running over to a local Monoprix to grab the Schweppes Agrume my 11-year old requested. Our oysters arrived gorgeously arrayed on a platter. Daughter gamely joined me in a dozen. Alas, they were horribly salty. I’ve had oysters in New Orleans, Brighton, Mobile and Boston. I expect them to taste of the sea — that’s their appeal. These must have been doused in brine to be this horribly salty. Diners next to us asked what I’d suggest, and I advised them yo stick to the smoked fish, and if they must have oysters, get a glass of fresh water to swirl the oyster meat in to reduce the effect of the brine. Alas, I would not repeat this...
Read moreWe went at late night just after getting off the Eurostar from London, they were almost closing so we could only get takeaway. We ordered the medium sized oysters at 11.5 per dozen at the recommendation of their staff. The oysters were promptly shucked and we were advices to consume them within 1 hour, hence we decided to endeavour them at the outdoor sitting of the shop. The waitress spotted us eating outside and she gave us 2 glasses of white wine and 2 forks to enjoy the oysters, saying they were better to be eaten that way! We were pleasantly surprised by the great hospitality and would love to recommend this place to anyone who love oysters! The oysters were sweet and fresh, however they are more on the smaller size, we would definitely come back for...
