what an absolute gem!...off in the back streets of the 15th arondissement, away from all of the tourists, chef Jêrome Penanhoat will give you a culinary experience that will leave you smiling for days...the space is cozy with art deco details that please the eye, the service provided by M. Penanhoat's wife Betzuhara is friendly and beyond expectations, and the food is simply incredible...the chef/owner and his wife are personable and solicitous and every single part of our meal was perfection including an insanely delicious sweet onion tart appetizer and a roasted chicken main course that instantly became the benchmark for every roasted chicken I will ever eat for the rest of my life...the value here is simply unbelievable: Chef Penanhoat has worked in Michelin starred kitchens and a meal like this in a touristy area of Paris would be a bargain at twice the price...thank you M. and Mme for a wonderful experience!...very highly recommended and worth traveling off the...

The chef of Goulu(e) has experience working in Michelin 3-star restaurants and his original dishes here are outstanding. He has also served several heads of state. There is no doubt that he has truly mastered the art of gastronomy. The flavors, textures, and freshness are combined in a way that awakens your palate and gives you an unforgettable experience. The décor is modern, chic, and very clean. The price is an excellent value and is seriously affordable for Paris. The service was impeccable. The restroom is spotless! Don’t be fooled by the lackluster appearance of the neighboring businesses, which somewhat blemish the delicate nature of this fantastic restaurant. I can’t recommend...

Found Goulu(e) when looking for a local place to eat dinner after a busy day of sightseeing and could not be more happy with the discovery!

Chef came out and described the menu to us the best he could since we didn’t know French, it was very helpful and personable.

We got the 3 course menu for €40. We all tried different things and they were fantastic. It was also lovey to see the chef from the open kitchen. I’m sure the menu changes frequently, but the ratatouille, ceviche, veal and tuna were stand out dishes. Dessert was all fantastic.
