I really had a positive feeling about this restaurant after reading so many reviews and being very close to Eiffel tower in walking distance, but reality is different. 1. No buggies or strollers allowed inside. You have to leave them outside. Understandable due to space concerns. 2. They do not have a high chair for the toddlers. A big No No if you want to visit this with infant/toddlers. So disappointed and shocked to hear this from the staff. 3. If the visitors are less or your order is not costly, they do not show much interest. 4. Ordered roti and kadai paneer, halwa. You can see the pictures. Roti was cokked good, kadai paneer was the worst. Really didn't understand how do they justify €14 euros for the quantity. Forget about the quantity, there are hardly 3-4 paneer pieces and not a kadai paneer at all. Rest is all onions and peppers. Seriously, paneer curries are charged more because of Paneer, I do no expect to pay for fried onion and peppers. 5. Halwa is garnished and presented as a five star dish, but it is just okay. We were served this as a cold one. There is no wow factor to pay I think 7 euros for 2 pieces. The restaurant is not worth the amount you spend here.

We ordered a mango lassi, raita, onion pakora, samosa chaat, chole- medium spicy, laccha paratha, and garlic naan. Mango lassi - not cold and tasted watered down Raita- way too thick and needed a touch of salt Onion pakora- ok but too salty and oily (best dish of what we ordered) Samosa chaat- samosa was soft and not fresh. The yogurt was non existant, and the sev way too thick Chole- way too spicy and unevenly cooked. Some chickpeas were hard and others soft Garlic naan - this was good Laccha paratha- this was a buttered naan sold as such. I asked them if this was a paratha and they said yes. Look at the pics attached. Except for the garlic there is no difference. When I told them the chole was too spicy after they asked, they didn’t say anything. No offer to correct despite seeing the reactions to us trying to eat it. I must agree with the other reviewers. I would stay away for vegetarian food and find some other place.

Five-Star Dining Experience at Vaijayanta: A Taste of India in the Heart of Paris! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you're looking for an exquisite culinary journey that fuses the rich flavors of India with the enchanting ambiance of Paris, look no further than Vaijayanta! This hidden gem of an Indian restaurant has undoubtedly become one of my all-time favorites in the City of Love. From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interior decor effortlessly combines traditional Indian elements with a touch of contemporary elegance. The intimate setting, adorned with vibrant colours and captivating artwork, creates a perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. The Chicken Biryani and King Prawn Bhuna were the winners for me. The flavours blended so well together and took me right back to my days in India. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Paris. 5 Stars from me.

A Wonderful Indian restaurant situated in the heart of Paris. Coming from London I really missed the authentic Indian Cuisine and was so happy we came here for dinner. It was truly a memorable experience.

The menu at Vaijayanta is an absolute delight for any food enthusiast. The extensive selection of dishes boasts a symphony of authentic flavours, skill-fully prepared by their talented chefs. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to find a plethora of options specifically tailored to my preferences, but I also noticed the restaurant caters to various dietary needs, which is truly commendable.

To start my culinary adventure, I chose the Samosa Chaat as an appetiser, and it was a sublime combination of crispy, flaky samosas topped with tangy tamarind chutney and creamy yogurt. The burst of flavours was simply divine, leaving me eager for the next course.

For the main course, I decided on the Vegetable Dum Biryani and Paneer Tikka Masala and they were an absolute triumph! The fragrant basmati rice was cooked to perfection and infused with a blend of aromatic spices. Every spoonful revealed an assortment of fresh vegetables, perfectly balanced in both taste and texture. The paneer was perfectly cooked with a lovely tandoor flavour and the sauce was creamy, a little spicy and delicious.

The attentive and friendly staff at Vaijayanta further enhanced my dining experience. They were eager to explain each dish and its ingredients, making me feel like a valued guest rather than just a customer. The service was prompt, yet I never felt rushed, allowing me to savour every moment of this gastronomic adventure.

No dining experience would be complete without indulging in a delectable dessert, and the Suji Halwa was an absolute delight! The subtle sweetness was just spot on.

Vaijayanta is a must-visit destination. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable culinary adventure that will leave your taste buds...

Hello everyone. Hope my review is helpful for the team working here as well as for people, who want to visit here or looking for Indian food in Paris. I must say food of this place is amazing, you will feel like you are in India, in terms of taste. Must visit place for Indian food. Only one thing I want to say, whosoever is visiting Paris. Off course its a different country so we dont look only for Indian food, we also look for that environment and so people search for Indian Restaurant and visit irrespective of the distance. When we visited here, we tried speaking in Hindi to get that country friendliness but the person here was speaking only in English and he was very professional, professionalism is very good- in fact one must be but when we see a person from our country we feel that these are our people and at the same time that is also very important. So I just want to say its not people dont know English. I live in Germany but everywhere I listen and speak German and French in Paris, so one is fluent, its only about that environment and it also makes an impact, if that could be improved- it will make people feel comfortable like India in a different country. I wish you all a great time in Paris and a very tasty food in thsi restaurant. May you all stay healthy and...

POV: YOU LOVED INDIAN FOOD, BUT NOW YOU HATE IT A strange experience to say the least. Almost immediately, greeted by a staff member asking for our covid passes. We showed him our and our booster card as the vaccine passport was out of date, they didnt understand how boosters worked, and then asked if the restaurant was checked would they be okay. This was strange as is seemed as if they only cared about how their restaurant was viewed and not about the safety of their customers, we were seated and I ordered food, was advised to only get one rice and then see if another was needed, I thought this was a remark as to the size of the dishes, only to learn that the dishes were barely enough for one person, and having to pay more and more just to be filled with rice and nan. Of course we had to order more rice and nan, yet we were given garlic nan instead of plain nan and were charged more. After finishing our meal, the members of staff decided to seat another couple down at the table beside us, that I thought was a part of our table, they were barely half a metre away from us and it was very intruding and we did not feel safe or comfortable, we put our masks on immediately and felt as if we were being thrown out. Would not...
