Le Gambetta — Restaurant in Poitiers

For the first time in France I found a bar that sells a reputable weissbier. I dived straight in and had one, it was delicious. My wife had an East8 Hardup, or something similar. Some sort of cocktail I believe.

Place is in an excellent location, plenty of places to take a seat and the service is super fast and super friendly.

Beaucoup de choses qui ne vont pas. On est arrivé à 5. On est même pas installé qu’on nous demande si on sait ce que l’on veut. 5 min après on nous demande encore une fois la même chose. On sent bien que le serveur est pressé, alors qu’il n’y a personne quasiment en terrasse. Donc il nous presse pour prendre des commandes sachant qu’on ne savait pas tous ce que l’on voulait. Je lui demande ce qu’il aurait à me conseiller en cocktail sans alcool et bien aucune réponse mais ça présence à attendre la commande alors que je regarde encore la carte donc je commande un sirop à l’eau quand même. Le goût infecte. Je demande qu’on me le change. Goût identique que la première fois donc je n’y retouche plus. Au moment du paiement je précise que je paie quand même ma consommation alors que je n’ai pas bu une gorgée du verre, simple réponse de la personne qui encaisse, un haussement d’épaule.
