Terrible experience. Craig seems to think english do not deserve to be served!! This guy had a completely terrible attitude because i tried to speak french and he went to quick for my basic french. Sat me down and refused to even acknowledge me due to being English speaking Irish citizen. I was were gutted to see him whizz around his french customers while they joked about speaking “parfait anglais” while i sat to the tabke beside them, i was disgusted with the contempt he had when they took a view to think i could not understand the nonsense while happily taking our custom and my money i paid 150 euro for a ignorant man to be sorted. Food was brilliant and holts was brilliant but with the poor attitude craig had it was not worth a ounce of good service. Felt abused, overlooked and massively disrespected due to my inability to speak fluent french. Never in my time of coming to france year after year have i met such an unwelcome and poor quality server/ manager. If your primary language is english do not go here. You wont be made welcome. Ma mère, son amie et moi sommes allées dîner dans ce restaurant après une journée de shopping, avec l’envie de manger un bon repas et de nous reposer un peu.

À notre arrivée, par politesse, sachant que la plupart des restaurants à Reims demandent une réservation pour dîner, nous avons demandé à l’hôte s’il restait une table pour nous, sinon il nous derangeait pas de repartir. L'hôte, malheureusement très impoli, a commencé à faire des blagues de mauvais goût en répondant de manière sarcastique : « Est-ce qu’il y a des tables ? Je ne sais pas, comment je suis censé le savoir ? » Il riait tout seul, et ce n’est qu’en comprenant que nous ne trouvions pas ça drôle qu’il nous a finalement répondu sérieusement et nous a invités à nous asseoir. Ensuite, il nous a demandé si nous souhaitions le menu en français ou en anglais. L’amie de ma mère étant italienne mais parlant couramment le français, nous avons demandé le menu en français. À notre grande surprise, il a fait une grimace en entendant notre réponse.

Le dîner s’est bien déroulé. Nous avons commandé deux tartares de bœuf et une pizza, et tous les plats étaient excellents. La serveuse qui s'est occupée de nous était, quant à elle, polie, agréable et sympathique : un service parfait de sa part. Nous avons payé un prix tout à fait correct pour la qualité des plats servis.

Cependant, en remettant nos manteaux et alors que nous nous apprêtions à partir pour libérer la table, l'hôte, qui accueillait une autre famille, nous a regardées et a dit aux nouveaux arrivants : «Si elles partent un peu plus vite, vous pourrez enfin vous asseoir,» tout ça à voix bien haute juste à côté de nous, même les nouveaux arrivés semblaient un peu gênés par une telle impolitesse.

Malgré la qualité des plats et le service attentionné de notre serveuse, l’attitude de l'hôte a terni notre expérience. Ce restaurant pourrait améliorer l'accueil pour rendre l'expérience...

It was an absolutely gorgeous place to have dinner. The interior was very picturesque for me. Sublet dark viewing gave it a little bit of a mystery to it but yet still comforting. The food was great. Started off with Mojito and we’re offered small appetiser on the side.. which was good. And the pasta and the pizza we had was just perfect and delicious. And I couldn’t believe how much morille they gave me in my pasta and for the price I was really amazed.
