We have just spent 2 nights at this hotel on the recommendation of friends - and they were right! We were welcomed by one of the owners and she gave us a comprehensive guide to the island, in French, but slowly and clearly enough for me to understand! The room was on the ground floor, and although small was perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean. |Being out of season, many restaurants were closed, but that worked to our advantage as we ate in their superb restaurant on both nights. Read moreThis restaurant is full of surprises. We were strolling around Boyardville and were thirsty so we stopped for a drink, the place looked like a typical roadside cafe, the staff and the other customers were so friendly, that we decided to eat here as well. By this time, it had started to get a little bit chilly so we moved into restaurant to it and lo and behold a very classy restaurant! So elegant and tastefully decorated. We ordered a starter, the main course and a dessert. The started was a sort of fish in a cream paste and served in a jar together with a salad. Then came a piece of sole cooked in butter. For dessert , it was a cheesecake and believe me it was the best this side of the Atlantic ! All of this choked down with an excellent local chardonnay.Such friendly staff and so good food !...
