Brasserie H9 — Restaurant in Rouen

We had been here before and really enjoyed it. Sadly the return visit was disappointing.

Sunday lunch so expected it to be busy but we felt poorly looked after by the front of house. Other tables served in preference to us. Good wine and a little amuse bouche.

Scallops were well cooked but served in a cold plate and both the sauce and the purée were cold. No real veg at all. For €30 this was disappointing. Bread was minimal but refilled on request. Why you give two people three pieces of bread is beyond me.

Nice and casual outlet for chill and food. They have different types of seating options: lady deck chairs overlooking the Seine river, the high bar stools, and also the table seating for proper meals.

They have super happy hour whereby you can order beers, mojito, and many more at €5 per serving.

Quelle expérience extraordinaire ! Après une première visite mémorable, nous sommes retournés dans ce restaurant et notre soirée a été encore plus incroyable. Le 14 juillet, jour de la fête nationale, a ajouté une touche magique à notre dîner avec un magnifique feu d'artifice et une vue au premier plan.

Nous avons commencé par des moules frites au chorizo, un délice pour les papilles. Chaque bouchée était savoureuse et parfaitement assaisonnée. Ensuite, pour le dessert, nous avons découvert une petite caravane rose sur la terrasse du restaurant qui proposait des glaces, des gaufres au Nutella, et même des crêpes. C'était une idée originale et une fin de repas gourmande qui a ravi tout le monde.

Le personnel mérite une mention spéciale : ils sont super sympathiques, très professionnels, toujours à l'écoute et accueillants avec un sourire chaleureux. Cette attention et cette convivialité font vraiment la différence et donnent l'impression de dîner chez des amis.
