We really enjoyed our meal. I had the vegetarian burger, which was delicious, and my husband thoroughly liked the galette he ordered, paired with a nice beer.

However, the experience was somewhat marred by an issue with cleanliness. We chose to sit indoors near the staircase due to the wind outside, but unfortunately, someone began sweeping the stairs nearby while we were waiting. Despite clearly seeing us, along with another guest seated close by, the person continued sweeping, causing dust to fly around. There was no effort made to pause, inform us, or suggest we wait outside until the cleaning was finished.

It was disappointing, especially considering the restaurant’s prime location in the heart of Rouen, right next to the cathedral. Basic hygiene and customer courtesy should be a given in such a setting. This small but impactful oversight detracted from an otherwise...

The food was okay, nothing really special. The service was very unfriendly, we basically got laughed at for asking a simple question. The staff is very loud and agitated, this creates a very stressful environment combined with the poor choice of music. Moreover, this is supposed to be a cat café, but I think that the cats are only there for the advertisement. It's really not a suitable place for pets, they keep bumping into loud people and I'm sure it's extremely stressful for them. They also don't have a space where they can relax from the overwhelming atmosphere. I would also think about adding some rules on how to deal with the cats in order to avoid...

Neither the server nor the cook understood the concept of a gluten allergy. I went for a salad, notified them of my allergy, asked multiple questions so ensure I was going to get something gluten free. Both the first salad they made and the salad they remade had gluten in it. I just gave up and didn’t eat it at that point but still had to pay for it even after I explained to the server why I couldn’t eat it when he asked why I hadn’t eaten it. It would’ve been fine if it was handled politely but the waiter was rude about it.
