ETIENNE Coffee & Shop Rouen — Restaurant in Rouen

I don’t recommend coming here on the weekends if you need to study or write a paper.A server told me people are only able to work on their laptop throughout the week without issue, but as I was leaving i saw other individuals working on their computers.

I was willing to purchase more drinks or food if necessary to stay longer, but they told me that I needed to leave. I understand I was there for quite awhile due to working on an important assignment, but I didn’t take up much space.

I thought it was quite rude that I was told to leave because I was working on my laptop. I told the waiter I was willing to purchase something if I could stay longer but he told me I would have to put my laptop away. He offered me a menu to purchase something else but I declined if I couldn’t stay and work.

If you want to go here for the drinks go ahead, but don’t waste your money thinking you’ll be able to stay and study even if you pay for more items.

Otherwise the drinks were ok. Maybe not worth 4-5...

Great place for an imaginative expression of coffee and other drinks. My family and I enjoyed a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks at Etienne. We don't speak very good French, so the English menus and English speaking waiting staff were brilliant. The drinks (chocolate frappe, hot chocolate, coconut milkshake and cafe americano) were tasty and well presented, the waffles, cookies and sampling tray of desserts really delicious!
