French Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Rouen

Meeting finished early. Three hours to spare. Where can I get Internet, power,coffee and maybe something to eat without feeling guilty. Wandered into the old town and found this joint just down the road from the fancy clock. Roomy, with quirky blackboards and pictures. Lots of bits and pieces from regular clients adorn the walls. Large clean and fresh toilet/ bathroom. I sat at a breakfast bar on a stool with a power outlet right there. In fact every sitting spot has a power outlet and there are power plates as well for those who have matching devices. Staff were sound, efficient and very friendly after the obligatory French gruff phase was over :-) Coffee was good, hot and tasty. I had a tasty gratin for lunch and later I lost my brookie cherry. The experience was horrible, we ordered matcha latte, but it tasted only like sugar, I went to ask to change it, urge worker told me that they do not use sugar at all, which is very strange considering the drinks were very sweet, and even thought we just tried it a little bit and almost the whole drink was still there, as it was just undrinkable, the worker told me that she can pour at away in the sink or we can drink it, and she won’t remake it. Nous sommes arrivées à 8 filles en milieu de matinée le 07 septembre 2024, pour l’enterrement de vie de jeune fille de ma sœur Morgane. Nous n’avions aucune réservation et pourtant, Didier et Delphine nous ont accueilli avec une telle amabilité et joie de vivre que cela nous a marqué pour le reste de notre journée. Leurs produits sont exceptionnels et de bonne qualité, le cadre est idéal et nous n’aurions pas pu trouver mieux pour débuter les festivités dans la bonne humeur. Didier comme Delphine savent être professionnels tout en transmettant leur petite touche de folie ; ils savent de quoi ils parlent et n’hésitent pas à transmettre leur passion à leurs clients. De plus, malgré le fait que nous sommes arrivées sans prévenir, le service a été rapide et le prix particulièrement abordable. Didier et Delphine sont, sans aucun doute, une des raisons principales de la bonne réussite de l’EVJF de ma sœur. Quand on repense à cette journée, on est obligées de parler de vous et la mariée en garde un très bon souvenir. Merci infiniment à vous deux pour tout !
