10 out of 10! We stopped by with no reservation on a Sunday evening and the staff was kind and friendly and quickly arranged us a table inside (our preference), close to their closing time. When we ordered the food we were not expecting the quality and taste we had! It was a remarkable dinner. The beef tartare is a must - no doubts. It was fresh and full of flavour, simply incredible. We also had a cheese platter with local cheese (delicious and fresh) and a platter of a local charcuterie that was also spotless. We tried the same dish in other places and you just can not compare. The atmosphere is cozy and vibrant, the service is top quality, staff got us in English with no issues. To close the dinner we had a dessert that I’ll never forget - it was a chocolate delight, one of the best desserts I ever had. Simply incredible. I highly recommend, the location is very central, close to the historic centre and other nice attractions. If you’re in Rouen I would defo include this place in...

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant, which offers traditional French cuisine. Despite not having a reservation, the staff warmly welcomed us and quickly found us a table, setting the tone for the evening with their attentive and gracious service.

The wine selection was excellent and paired beautifully with our dishes. For our mains, we ordered the tartare and the pork—both were cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and elegantly presented. We also indulged in a wonderful assortment of local cheeses that highlighted the richness of the region’s culinary traditions. To finish, the desserts were just as delightful, the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal.

Overall, everything—from the atmosphere to the food and service—was impeccable. A restaurant I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone...

They won't let you have a only cup of coffee or tea. YOU MUST ORDER FOOD. Years of international travel, and this was a first. I arrived about 6:30 p.m. and there was One table occupied by a man and his son. So I wasn't taking up valuable real estate.

I'm here for a month and live just a block away and would have returned often if I had been treated respectfully. I mean seriously, who's working for whom? So I left.

Thankfully there are lots of other friendly cafes that would love to have my euros.

I was strolling for another place and found Cafe Brun where a giant American sized latte is 2.70, the people speak English fluently and best of all, they are very nice. That's what you want when you're on vacation. Not someone who says you're not...
