Very disappointed. We just arrive, the restaurant is not busy and it is 7:40pm. After we have been shown the menu we sat, and after we order the drinks a relatively young lady (she was not friendly at all, and quite bored by her job) came to took the order. When we tried to order, all the sudden she said there were none of the starters left. I wanted something small and had to change my order with a steak (it arrived burned and the chips as side arrived after 10minutes) the other two people ordered some dessert, and after that a guy came to tell us even some of the dessert ordered were actually not available. Something that will stay with me is that with the steak they wouldn't bring any mustard, only ketchup..... not really what you would expect in france. This at 7:40pm on a saturday night, while the restaurant is not even busy. It is very disappointing, this has been the place we have been using to come everytime, but tonight a mix of missing items and not very friendly staff made us decide this will be the last time. This is the 4th time here, the first time some years ago was great, really not sure what has been happening over time, but it is a huge difference. Now only the old man at the till is nice, sweet and friendly as ever with the customer. The last time we were here half of the menu was out of stock. We thought was because we actually arrived late that night, but apparently it is now normal that the menu don't reflect what they have. If you fancy a beer or a glass of wine, the location is great, but do not expect much kindness. Or at least this was our experience.

The place has it all! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Impeccable food, the service came from the most wonderfully strange team of staff, each more quirky than the last. And to top it off we met some really vibrant locals, which altogether served a night we'll remember. ✨ We all went for the steaks 🥩 and despite the kitchen not having any of the accompanying sauce left over for the steak, the whole dish was STILL one of the best steaks dishes I've ever had. The cut was well cooked and was mellting in my mouth (obviously went for rare) 😌. The chips it came with actually brought a tear of joy to our eyes, no cap 🍟 :') We finished it off with the French version of a bread and butter pudding (pain perdue?), this part made us all melt, it was heaven. You gotta go here.

Simply one of our favourite restaurants we have ever been to! We stumbled across it last year and found the food and service just fantastic and have been talking about it ever since! We were able to come back last night and the experience exceeded our expectations. The setting is beautiful, either under the canopy of the tree outside or at one of the cozy tables inside the restaurant that has been beautifully curated. The owner listened to our likes and recommended two beautiful wines which were spot on. He also recommended the sabodet dish to my partner (sausage stew) which was sublime.. the portions are generous, the flavours complex and we will be thinking about it for another whole year until we can come again!
