Honestly, this place left me a bit baffled after my recent dinner. I had high expectations, thinking I’d be served some truly exceptional food, but instead, it was just... decent. Nothing really stood out. The restaurant’s decor is pretty basic, so you’re not coming here for the atmosphere. With such high ratings, I was hoping the dishes would have a creative twist or something memorable, but that wasn’t the case at all. From the asparagus to the Caesar salad to the gnocchi, everything was fine, but nothing exceptional. To be honest, I just don’t understand how this place has such high ratings. It wasn’t bad, but it certainly didn’t live up to the hype.

Mon déjeuner au Markette a été bien plus qu’une simple lunch; c’était un véritable régal pour les sens, depuis le moment où j’ai franchi la porte jusqu’à la dernière bouchée délicieuse. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été accueilli par un service impeccable et professionnel. Le personnel était souriant, chaleureux et extrêmement compétent. Je commence par la belle petite salade césar truffée, un chef-d’œuvre de fraîcheur et de finesse. Puis, les gnocchis maison ont transporté mes papilles dans un monde de délices encore inexploré. La crème de champignons Portobello, parfumée à la truffe noire, a enveloppé chaque gnocchi d’une tendresse veloutée, tandis que la stracciatella fondante, les pignons de pin croquants et la roquette fraîche ajoutaient des dimensions de saveur inattendues et exaltantes. Et pour clore ce festin divin en apothéose, notre pain perdu gourmand a été une véritable révélation. Chaque bouchée était un retour à l’enfance, mais avec une touche sophistiquée et indulgente qui m’a laissé enchanté. Merci pour cette expérience inoubliable. Cinq étoiles ne suffisent pas à exprimer ma gratitude et mon admiration pour ce lieu d’exception.

Située dans la partie piétonne de la rue Beauvoisine, nichée au rez-de-chaussée fort bien restauré d’une maison ancienne découvrant ses pierres apparentes et des tables en bois qui donnent un aspect chaleureux, cette adresse est une vraie belle surprise. Un service efficace et sympathique, des saveurs nouvelles et équilibrées et de très bons vins font de Markette un lieu convivial et offrant un repas vraiment délicieux. La musique lounge qui résonne gaiment entre les rires et les discussions enflammées donne au lieu un espace bien animé. Parfait pour se mettre dans une ambiance festive !…
