Pizzeria du Drugstore — Restaurant in Rouen

As a kitchen chef and critic I have to give a review. I give just 3* not that the food wasn't good but because for a "Italian pizzeria" I didn't think the pizza dough was the best! The dough was looking more like a swiss Flammkuchen, really flat and crispy but the rest of the ingredients was awesome!!!! As a starter I had a buratta with truffle, I love it, just the dressing was to sour. I have also to say that we order a "expensive wine" that not was opened on the table was already opened and didn't even come a cooler that the wine is cooled ( we ask for one but it never comes). Unless I found another better pizza in town, Pizza Drugstore is so far the best place where you can eat the best pizza in Rouen. The place itself quite unique, the restaurant was an old wine cave. Unlike another pizza place, where you can order via Deliveroo or Ubereats, you can't get their pizza unless you go in there. Make sure you have your reservation or go there to have early dinner. The perks of having pizza here is that you can have half pizza and half salads, so at the end you will have more space in your tummy to taste...

Gorgeous atmosphere, quiet , lovely dimmed lights, very clean. To improve the menu should be increased to different kinds of pasta e.g bolognese. Unfortunately my brother came last year and got a bolognese pizza, he was buzzing to have it again but unfortunately it’s been removed off the menu. Appart from that staff are lovely, atmosphere is beautiful and the taste off the food is good. Size of restaurant is good and will come again. But once again if the menu was increased that would be great! Thank you Pizza...
